I started using this on my hard to keep mare, its been about 3 weeks and I'm seeing improvement. She's filling out and seems more comfortable overall. The only thing that could improve is the smell/flavor.
Ive got a new to us draft horse that has had a rough life. We are her 3rd owners. She was a starved isolated broodmare, very anxious, paces and nervous sweating. Vet rx for ulcers and calmer. Since we dont know how long she'll need to be on this treatment we wanted to try something more natural and this was recommended by our vet.It arrived 4 days earlier than said and we were happy about that. Shipping and taxes were just under $20. If it works it'll be worth it. Nonetheless, it's a tax write off for us.They have another product that can go with this one called sanity. Probably going to order that too.Id recommend looking at their website. Some good info to go along with the products.I can see why some horses dont like the smell and wont eat it on their food. We put a drop of vanilla and a small dash of cinnamon in it. Also use a washed out panacure dewormer syringe as it holds more. Not a lot of distributors in my area so buying through amazon or direct, which are same price. With our heat and humidity i keep in barn fridge. Shake up before using.Im only giving 4 stars at current time until i can see further results and because of smell.9.22.25 Update:This worked and quick too. I think by day 4 this mare had calmed way down. By the time the bottle was gone she was a different horse. I havent ordered another yet, dont feel like she needs it, but i will be ordering a bottle or two for next years show season. I updated the stars to 5. Definitely worth every it.
wish shipping was cheaper
It seems like it would be a great product and I was very hopeful for it but unfortunately my horse wouldn’t even eat it. I tried to give orally with a syringe but it’s so much to give at once it’s a constant fight due to the taste of it. Unfortunately I can’t tell if it actually is doing anything since she’s getting more stressed by not eating and not wanting to take it orally either
This stuff will turn a belly ache around in horses.I use it situationally in a syringe for gas issues and typically for stressful times. The horses do not complain.
